These expansive floor panels are installed without intermediate saw-cut contraction joints, relying on precision-controlled sub-base flatness and levelness to minimize restraint beneath the slab. Typically, 20 kg/m³ of steel fibers are incorporated to manage crack distribution and control widths caused by drying shrinkage stresses. While large panel sizes can increase crack opening risk, EFIL mitigates this with strategically positioned, robust steel armoured joints at panel edges, preserving load transfer integrity and mitigating truck impact issues. Through our comprehensive expertise in concrete science, SFRC technology, and quality oversight, EFIL efficiently casts jointless floor panels spanning from 625 to 1,225 m² per day. By eliminating conventional sawn joints—an often problematic source of floor distress—our jointless solutions provide seamless, resilient surfaces designed to endure demanding industrial traffic and harsh operational conditions. Advanced Construction Technology

Our proprietary concrete mix incorporates Shrinkage Reducing Admixtures (SRA) paired with a hybrid reinforcement system, combining premium steel fibers and strategically placed steel rebar mesh in a Combi Slab design. This advanced formulation eliminates the necessity for saw-cut joints traditionally used to control shrinkage-related cracking.

Construction joints, carefully engineered as tied joints, remain closed throughout the shrinkage period, providing seamless load transfer across the entire slab. This approach enables uninterrupted floor surfaces regardless of slab size or aspect ratio, delivering superior operational smoothness to Material Handling Equipment (MHE).

Reinforcement & Crack Control

Reinforced typically with a continuous top-layer rebar mesh alongside high-performance hooked-end steel fibers (tensile strength ≥1700 MPa), our seamless floors control crack widths below 0.3 mm—imperceptible to the naked eye and exceeding the performance of typical jointless or sawn floor systems.

All construction joints are tightly coupled, preventing any opening beyond designed crack width, ensuring liquid-tight surfaces ideal for demanding environments.
